POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's team improved to 3-4 after a 6-1 victory over the University of Nevada on Friday afternoon in Reed Gym.
The Bengals started brought the energy from the get-go taking the doubles point. The No. 33 ranked doubles team of
Patrik Trhac and
Aleksandar Petrovic beat Juan Batalla and Matheo Coupu 7-5 and the point was won with
Ege Cankus and
Hiroki Fujita won 6-4 at No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Trhac won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1 singles. Petrovic beat Batalla, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 and
Andreas Kramer earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
Patrick Kristensen and
Ege Cankus also earned victories.
Idaho State plays Linfield College Saturday in a double header starting at 10 a.m.
