POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's tennis team won its sixth straight match and improved to 8-4 overall and 2-0 in Big Sky Conference play after a 7-0 win over Eastern Washington on Saturday afternoon in Reed Gym.
The Bengals won the doubles point thanks to wins by
Patrik Trhac and
Aleksandar Petrovic at No. 1(6-3) and
Hiroki Fujita and
Wikus Robbertse at No. 3 doubles (6-2)/
In singles play, Trhac won 7-6, 6-1 at the No. 1 position while Petrovic won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.
Andreas Kramer won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and
Patrick Kristensen won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4.
Ege Cankus won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5 singles and
Ethan Lye won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6.
Idaho State travels to Boise March 4-5 to play Pacific on March 4 and Boise State on March 5.
