POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's tennis team lost 5-2 to the Air Force Academy on Saturday morning in Reed Gym.
The Bengals earned two wins in singles play.
Lola O'Lideadha won 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3 singles over Alexis Odom.
Alexandra Arkhipov won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
While the Bengals lost the doubles point, Lola and
Sol O'Lideadha won its match at No. 2 doubles, 6-3.
"We had a lot of chances today and we just didn't execute on the big points," Idaho State coach
Gretchen Maloney said. "They were a good team and made us play under pressure. We need to clean it up for our next conference match."
The Bengals are back in action March 18 vs. Eastern Washington. The match starts at 3 p.m. in Reed Gym.
The Bengals then hit the road for four matches in Arizona March 21-24.
