POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State women's basketball is headed to Laramie, Wyoming for the opening round of the 2022 WNIT. The Bengals will face off with the Wyoming Cowgirls on Thursday, March 17 at 6:30 PM MT.
The Bengals, who were the regular-season champions in the Big Sky this season, enter Thursday's contest with a 19-11 record on the year. The Cowgirls, who finished the 2021-22 campaign with a 15-12 record overall and a third-place finish in the Mountain West, are 17-8 all-time in the WNIT, including capturing the title in 2007.
This is the second consecutive postseason appearance for the Bengals and the third in four years for the Orange and Black.
