POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State men's tennis team lost 4-3 to Boise State on Saturday evening in Boise, Idaho.
The match saw lots of close matches. Idaho State lost the doubles point as
Patrick Kristensen and
Andreas Kramer picked up the only doubles win with a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Patrik Trhac and
Aleksandar Petrovic lost a 7-6 match at No. 1 doubles and
Hiroki Fujita and
Wikus Robbertse lost 6-3 in the other doubles contest.
The wins in singles play came at the No. 3, 4 and 5 positions.
Andreas Kramer won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles while
Patrick Kristensen won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.
Fujita won a three-set match at the No. 5 spot. He won set 1, 7-5 (7-3), lost set 2, 6-4, and won set 3 1-0 (10-2).
Idaho State is 8-6 and hosts Montana State on Friday, March 18 at 11 a.m.
