POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball has announced the addition of three more players to the 2022-23 roster. Laura Bellow a transfer from Newman University, Camryn Collman a transfer from the University of Portland and Martyna Kovalska from Cowley Community College.

Laura Bello | Newman University | Allen, TX
Laura, a 6-3 forward comes to the program as a transfer from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas. As a freshman playing for the Jets, Bellow played in 24 games averaging 15.3 minutes on the floor.
Bello was second on her team with an impressive 83 made field goals and a .469 shooting percentage, averaging 7.6 ppg. From the stripe, Bello hit 69.1 percent of her 55 attempts.
On the glass, Bello was second on her team grabbing 129 boards in the 2021-22 season. Bello also used her height to block nine shots last season.
Bello comes to Pocatello from Allen, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. At Allen High School, Bello was named newcomer of the year.
Laura plans on studying psychology at Idaho State and was drawn to the Bengal coaches and the family environment in the Bengals' program.

Camryn Collman | University of Portland | La Grande, Oregon
Camryn comes to the Bengals as a transfer from West Coast Conference Portland. The 5-9 shooter redshirted her first year at Portland, but comes to the Bengals with an impressive high school resume.
Camryn was a three-sport athlete at La Grande High School playing Basketball, Soccer and track and field competing in the jumps and relays.
In just her junior year, Collman joined the 1,000 point club and earned four years straight first team all-conference honors. Her senior year Collman was awarded the player of the year.
Her senior year, Collman broke her school record with a 43-point game to advance her team to the state tournament. At La Grande, Collman broke 10 school records during her four years playing.
Off the court, Camryn truly excelled, being named her school's valedictorian and graduating with honors.
Camryn was drawn to the Bengals after seeing the campus and describing it as being similar to her hometown.

Martyna Kowalska | Cowley Community College | Leszno, Poland
Martyna comes to the Bengals all the way from Poland, by way of Cowley Community College where she played the previous two seasons. Martyna is not giving up her stripes though as she moves from the Cowley Orange and Black Tigers to the Orange and Black Idaho State Bengals.
In two years at Cowley, the 6-0 forward averaged 13.6 ppg shooting 49.9 percent from the floor in her 50 starts for the Tigers.
In her career, she averaged 9.0 boards per game, but this last season was bringing down 10.2 per game averaging almost 4 oboards per outing. Defensively, she kept it strong under the basket blocking 1.5 shots per game on average.
Martyna earned second-team all-conference honors both years at Cowley
Martyna has been a member of the Polish National team since playing 14U, she played in the European Championships and was also a member of the U18 Polish 3x3 National Team.
Studying Microbiology, Martyna was Named the 2021-22 Cowley Student of the Year, and earned the Excellence Award from the Natural Science department. As a freshman, she was awarded NJCAA first-team all-academic honors.
