POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State women's tennis team opens the 2022-23 season this weekend at Capell Park in Chubbuck with the ISU Invite.
The Bengals compete September 9-11 with matches starting at 9 a.m. each day. The Bengals compete against players from Montana State, Weber State, Montana, Boise State and Utah Tech.
The Bengals finished the 2022 season by advancing to the semi-finals of the Big Sky Tournament. They return key contributors from last years team in
Leah Kuruvilla,
Hana Cho,
Megan Lang-Gould,
Lola O'Lideadha and
Sol O'Lideadha. On the team last year but unable to play due to injury was
Sydney Morris.
New to the squad this year is
Olivia Mikkelson and
Stefanya Shalakhova.
Following this weekend's tournament Idaho State competes at Air Force September 15-18.
