POCATELLO, Idaho- The Idaho State volleyball team fell to the Weber State Wildcats this weekend. Making the Wildcats earn every point, the Bengals took Weber State to four sets (17-25, 22-25, 27-25, 17-25).
In the match the Bengals were led by junior outside hitter
Jamie Streit, who finished with a game-high 21 kills and an attacking percentage of .392, followed by
Sadie Bluth (15). Junior setter
Aliyah Sopo'aga led the team in assists with 43. The Bengals were all over the court on the defensive end,
Lily Liekweg led the way tying a season-high with 23 digs, while
Aliyah Sopo'aga finished with 17.
Marci Richins tallied four blocks in the match and
Sadie Bluth and
Jaydin Watts both followed her with 3 apiece.
Idaho State will return home this week to take on Montana State on Thursday, November 9
th and Montana on Saturday, November 11
th.
