POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State women's basketball battled the Idaho Vandals in Moscow, Idaho Thursday evening. The Bengal's comeback attempt fell just short with the Vandals taking the 60-54 win.
"Our first-half deficit proved too much to overcome," remarked Head Coach Seton Sobolewski postgame." "As we have been all year, we are very proud of our team's fight and resilience. Those characteristics are critical for becoming the team we want to be in the future."
Callie Bourne continued to lead the Bengals offensively with 23 points nine boards and five assists. Laura Bello also scored in double digits with 10.
Kacey Spink continues to be a nuisance to opposing teams with six points, six boards and five steals.
The Bengals have one final road conference game of the season, this Saturday, as they take on the EWU Eagles in Cheney.
