POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State softball has announced the addition of Karlee Johnson to the staff for the 2023-34 season.
Johnson comes to the Bengals after a playing career at Boise State and spent the previous year two years working as a Marketing Coordinator for the Boise Hawks.
"Karlee is a fantastic addition to our coaching staff," remarked Head Coach Andrew Rich. "She has a great idea on the system that we have in place here at Idaho State from her time playing at Boise State and will be able to add even more on the analytical side of things to our program. I am excited to see how she grows into this position and watch her grow as a coach."
At Boise State Johson earned All-Mountain west honors in 2020. She was a two-time NFA All-American Scholar-Athlete.
With BSU, Johnson was named five-time All-Mountain West and five-time Academic Mountain West.
Johnson will coach the slappers and will assist with defense as well as statistical analysis.
