Ticket Sales Underway For Second Basketball Game In Idaho Falls

Pocatello, Idaho — The Bengals are set to return to Hero Arena at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls to square off against against the University of Nebraska Omaha. Tip is set for Saturday, January 6 at 6:00 PM.

Leading into the matchup against the Mavericks, the Idaho State men's basketball team has had a road contest in Corvallis, Oregon, against Oregon State, followed by back-to-back home games against Big Sky Conference foes Montana State and Montana, and finally a road trip to take on the University of Denver this evening. So far this year, the Bengals have proven themselves to be a great defensive team, allowing an average of a mere 67.5 points per game, which is second best in the conference. Offensively, senior center, and an all-conference selection a year ago, Brayden Parker, leads the way averaging 13.7 points per game, followed closely by newcomer, junior forward Kiree Huie, at 12.6. Parker and Huie also rank first and second, respectively, in the conference in field goal percentage.
