POCATELLO, Idaho - The Idaho State Bengals trailed for four quarters and despite an attempt at a come back at Sacramento State, fell 61-58 Thursday evening.
The Bengals fall to 10-12 (6-5 BSC) while the Sac State Hornets pick up their third win at 3-19 (2-9 BSC)
The Hornets jumped out to an early lead and the Bengals couldn't close the gap, going into halftime with a 32-23 lead over the Orange and Black.
The 2nd half the Hornets kept up the offensive push, shooting 40.7 percent in the second half as they held off the Bengals push.
the 2nd half Bengals didn't give up shooting a strong 52.0 field goal percentage led by 13 points from
Maria Dias.
The Bengals forced 18 turnovers out of the Hornets and scored 16 points off them.
