Pocatello, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals kicked off week three of fall camp with a helmets-only practice focusing on individual group drills and individual attention.
Practice was broken up only once as the team got together to play a redzone challenge where different position groups tried to score on passing plays against one another.
After practice, safeties coach Scott Thiessen sat down to discuss the Bengal safeties' progression over the past year and into the 2024 season. DC Josh Runda runs a 3-3-5 defense and the three safeties in the backfield provide a pivotal part of the Bengal's defensive schemes on every play.
