Following the match Bengals' Head Coach,
Dustin Downey, shared his thoughts on the team's performance "I thought the first half was a great half for both teams. They came out and got the first goal, but the game started to settle in and so did we. We fought, competed, and got one back and it's 1-1 at half. I was really happy with our performance to end the first half.
In the second half I thought Boise State came out ready to play, I think that some inexperience showed on our end, but anytime you are going up against such a veteran team like Boise State it will be challenging.
We are trying to build, grow, and develop here at ISU and I believe you need to go through these types of experiences and hard times to realize what it takes to play at that level. We are going to walk away from this game with things to learn and grow from and we are going to turn around and get ready for Oregon State on Wednesday."
The Bengals will return to action on Wednesday, August 28
th for their home opener in Pocatello, ID where the Bengals will host the Oregon State Beavers in their first match against one another since 1998. You can stream this match on
