POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State Bengals (1-2) fell to the North Dakota Fighting Hawks 52-28 in Grand Forks, ND Saturday afternoon.

Bengal Bites
· The Bengals finished the game with 385 yards of total offense to UNDs 442. After a slow first half, the Bengals ended the game with 293 yards in the air, 30 shy of their season average.
· Keoua Kauhi had a 53 yard kickoff return, this is the first 50+ yard return for the Bengals since the 2021 season.
· After being backed up from a penalty, Gabe Panikowksi successfully kicked a 40-yard PAT.
· Jeff Weimer led the Bengal receiver with 92 yards on six receptions and two touchdowns. Ian Duarte recorded his 2nd straight game with a touchdown reception.
· Ross Bolger had a season-long 59 yard punt, and two inside the 20.
· Nathan Reynolds led the Bengal defense with nine total tackles. Calvin Pitcher eneded the game with 7.
· Logan George had a strong day on the line with two tackles for loss and one sack.
· Teilor Tuioti had his first interception of the year with a return of 15 yards.

It's Homecoming in Pocatello, the Bengals are back home in the ICCU Dome taking on the Southern Utah Thunderbirds in a non-conference showdown with the team from Cedar City. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM MT.
