POCATELLO, Idaho – Idaho State could not keep pace late in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon, falling 68–58 to Oral Roberts at the Mabee Center. The Bengals and Golden Eagles were tied 32–32 at halftime, but ORU used a 17–13 third quarter and a 19–13 fourth to pull away. The Bengals move to 5-3 on the season with three more games to play before the start of Big Sky Conference play.
Tasia Jordan led Idaho State with 24 points on 11-for-17 shooting, adding seven rebounds and two steals.
Piper Carlson scored 10 points with a team-high nine rebounds, and
Kacey Spink finished with eight points, five rebounds, and six assists.
Idaho State shot 46 percent from the field and 57 percent on two-point attempts, but went just 1-for-12 from three. The Bengals held a 34–14 advantage in paint scoring but committed 25 turnovers that ORU converted into 21 points.
