Ava Brown and
Lizzy Tommasini were named the Big Sky Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week for their performances against Utah and Pacific this week.
Ava Brown - Player of the Week
Junior Outfielder Ava Brown led the Bengals to a 4-1 record this week with a trio of long balls.
After assisting the Bengals to a win over Utah, Brown dominated the three-game series with Pacific. Brown had six hits on the week, including three homeruns to extend her Big Sky leading total to 11 on the year. She added on five RBIs and 15 total bases to finish the five-game stretch with a .833 SLG%.
In centerfield, Brown was a perfect six-for-six on her putout attempts.
This is Brown's second Player of the Week award in 2025.

Lizzy Tommasini - Pitcher of the Week
Bengal Sophomore Pitcher Lizzy Tommasini was absolutely dominant in the circle this week for the Bengals.
In three appearances and 12 innings pitched, Tommasini finished with a 2-0 record and a 0.58 ERA only allowing six total hits and two runs. Holding opponents to just a .146 batting average, Tommasini struck out seven total batters and only walked two. Tommasini also picked up her Big Sky leading third save of the year.
This is the first Pitcher of the Week award for Tommasini in her career at ISU.

The Bengals are back in action this Wednesday taking on the Utah State Aggies at 2:00 PM at Direct Communications Field at Miller Ranch.
