POCATELLO, Idaho – The final stop is in Phoenix.
The Idaho State Men's Tennis team is set to close out its regular season with a trip to Phoenix, Arizona for the Big Sky Championship Tournament. The tournament will run from Thursday, April 24
th through Saturday, April 26
th.
While the exact match times for Idaho State have yet to be announced, the Bengals are the 2nd seed in the tournament, their highest ever seeding since the Big Sky Conference introduced true regular season standings in 2004. With the 2nd seed, ISU earns as first round bye, and will await the lowest remaining seed after the first round of matches between #3 Montana vs. #6 Sacramento State and #4 Idaho vs. #5 Weber State. If Montana defeats the Hornets, ISU will take on UM, if Sacramento State can pull the upset over Montana, then Idaho State will face off against the winner of Idaho and Weber State.
