Ross Bolger was selected 4th overall in the 2025 Canadian Football League's Global Draft Tuesday morning.
The CFL Global draft is a special draft for the league of non-Canadian and non-American football players. This year's draft featured two rounds with a total of 18 selections
Bolger, an Ireland native, competed for the Bengals the previous two seasons. In his career at Idaho State, Bolger played in 23 games. He had 3940 total punt yards including a 2000 yard season in 2024.
Against Southern Utah in 2024, Bolger set a new career best with a 51.75 yard average punting.
Bolger finished his career at Idaho State tied for 7th all-time in single season punting average with 44.4 yards per punt in 2024. For his career, Bolger ranks 6th all-time for the Bengals in punting average with 42.8 yards per punt ( 92-3,940).
