Pocatello, Idaho - Belle Navarrete played a pivotal role in the Bengals' three-game sweep of Northern Colorado this past weekend.
The Bengal infielder was on fire offensively, hitting .714 on the series, going five-of-seven with three runs scored and six RBIs.
In ISU's win in game three of the series, Navarrete made history as the first Bengal to hit two home runs in the same inning, her second coming as a true inside-the-park home homerun. With her six RBIs and 13 total bases in the three games, Belle finished with an astonishing 1.857 SLG percentage.
Defensively at 2nd base, Navarrete had three putouts and six assists with 0 errors to remain perfect on the weekend.
Idaho State is back on the road this week with a single game at Utah State and then another Big Sky series with Weber State in Ogden.
