BOZEMAN, Montana – The Idaho State men's tennis team went 1–1 over the weekend in Bozeman, Montana, opening the trip with a dominant 7–0 neutral-site victory over Whitworth University before dropping a tightly contested 3–4 decision to Montana State in a non-conference match on Sunday morning at the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.

Idaho State swept all three doubles matches to secure the opening point.
Singles
The Bengals completed the shutout with dominant straight-set wins on all six singles courts.

Idaho State at Montana State
Montana State edged Idaho State by a single point in a tightly contested non-conference matchup between to Big Sky foes, with three singles matches going the distance and the doubles point proving decisive.
"Montana State were too good today," said head coach Oliver Good. "We competed well but there are some areas we'll look to improve this week before our first home match next Saturday."

Idaho State earned the doubles point with wins on courts one and three.
Singles
Montana State claimed four singles wins, while Idaho State picked up three points in tightly contested matches.
