POCATELLO, Idaho – The Idaho State men's tennis team earned a pair of convincing victories on Saturday at Reed Gym, sweeping Colorado Mesa University 7–0 in both matches of a doubleheader to open the home slate in Pocatello.
"The guys competed well and showed good energy throughout the day," said head coach Oliver Good. "I'd like to mention Jack Calleri, who played his first dual match here at Reed after a tough couple of years with injury. It's a great testament to his resolve and perseverance.
We'll now look to have some good practices ahead of a great test at UNLV next Friday."
Idaho State vs. Colorado Mesa – Match 1
Doubles
Idaho State took early control of the match by sweeping all three doubles courts, winning each match decisively to secure the opening point.
Singles
The Bengals carried momentum into singles play, posting straight-set victories on all six courts to complete the shutout.

Idaho State sealed the second sweep with strong performances across the lineup, including a three-set win from Hayden Ciguenza and Jack Calleri's first career collegiate victory to close out the dual.
