POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State Bengals Women's Tennis Head Coach Gretchen Maloney announced the signing of Sophie Schorm. Schorm, a native of Sindelfingen, Germany, will join the Idaho State Bengals for the 2026–27 season.
Coach Maloney shared her thoughts on bringing Sophie onboard, "We are excited to welcome Sophie to our program. She brings strong competitive experience from Germany and will add depth and intensity to our lineup."
Schorm brings a decorated junior background to Idaho State. She recorded four victories in district championship competition and gained valuable experience competing in the regional league with her team in Germany. Standing at 5-foot-4, Schorm adds quickness and competitive drive to the Bengals roster.
Schorm marks the second incoming freshman for Coach Maloney and the Bengals in the 2026 class.
