Pocatello, Idaho — Idaho State University Athletics has announced the hiring of Lance Ririe as Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Giving and Events, a key role within the department's external relations and development team.
Ririe brings more than a decade of experience in athletics partnerships, corporate sponsorships, and revenue generation. Most recently, he served in a leadership role focused on corporate partnerships with Sam Houston State University Athletics through Van Wagner, where he helped drive strategic revenue initiatives and strengthen relationships with corporate partners.
Throughout his career, Ririe has developed expertise in building meaningful partnerships, enhancing fan engagement, and executing high-impact events that elevate the visibility and financial support of collegiate athletics programs. His background includes work across multiple areas of athletics administration, positioning him to lead Idaho State's annual giving efforts and signature events.
In his role, Ririe will oversee the Bengal Athletic Boosters (B.A.B.) and related season tickets, annual fund strategies, donor engagement initiatives, and the planning and execution of key athletics and B.A.B. events, all aimed at supporting the continued growth and success of Bengal student-athletes.
Ririe summed up his thoughts about the opportunity by sharing, "I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to join the University Advancement and Athletics Development teams at Idaho State. My experience working in collegiate athletics, particularly with community partners in multimedia rights, has prepared me to build upon the strong foundation already in place.
