Pocatello, Idaho – The Idaho State University Athletics Department is proud to recognize an extraordinary six-figure gift-in-kind commitment from Starr Corporation, Acoustic Specialties, Mechanical Solutions, Electrical Solutions, and Trish's Painting through a renovation of the Bengal Athletics Equipment Room. The transformative project has refreshed one of the department's most essential operating spaces, providing a climate-controlled environment, expanded storage capacity, and enclosing the workspace that will enhance the daily experience of the Equipment Staff for years to come.

Their investment in Bengal Athletics reflects a shared belief in creating first-class facilities that support student-athlete success both on and off the field.

The newly renovated equipment room now features enclosed walls, significantly increasing security while creating a more functional workspace for the athletics equipment staff. Additional storage solutions have expanded the department's organizational capacity, allowing equipment to be stored more efficiently and accessed more easily throughout the year. The addition of climate control helps preserve uniforms, footwear, protective equipment, and other essential athletic gear, ensuring these resources remain in excellent condition while creating a more comfortable environment for the staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
While often unseen by fans, the equipment room serves as a hub for all of Idaho State's athletic programs. Every uniform, piece of practice gear, travel item, and competition essential passes through the space, making it one of the most critical support areas within the athletics department. Starr Corporation's contribution will improve day-to-day operations across all Bengal programs while providing long-term value for the university.
