POCATELLO, Idaho - Coming off of a strong first tournament of the year at the Wolverine Invitational, the Bengals hit the road this week to Bozeman, Montana to take on the MSU Yellowstone Intercollegiate. Play begins Monday, Sept. 21 and continues through the 22nd.

Idaho State opened its fall season at the Wolverine Invitational, hosted by Utah Valley at Talons Cove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, Utah, on Sept. 14-15. The Bengals posted rounds of 298-301-290 for a three-round total of +25 (25-over par), finishing fifth in the 10-team field behind champion Utah Valley (+11), Wyoming (+13), Southern Utah (+14) and Weber State (+20). Idaho State's final-round 290 was the low team score of the day among the field.
Andrea Chin paced the Bengals, tying for 14th individually with rounds of 76-72-74 for a +6 total. Kaylie Parola was right behind her in a tie for 19th at +7 (73-78-72), and Izzy Hassebrock rallied from an opening 82 with rounds of 73 and 69 to tie for 22nd at +8. Erica Wang also counted for Idaho State across the week, finishing at +11.
Competing as individuals, Venus Yong carded a +8 to tie for 22nd overall, while Lauren Aasand and Sarah Chen also saw action for the Bengals in Saratoga Springs.
