COACH ZAY:
A former nose tackle in the 3-3-5 defense for the Iowa State Cyclone, Isaiah “Zay” Lee joined the Idaho State coaching staff prior to spring football practice in 2024.

Logged 39 games, with 25 starts, during his playing career in Ames, Iowa the former Chicago native was an integral part of the Cyclones defensive line. In the Cheez-It Bowl, Zay Lee registered 0.5 sacks and had a career high in tackles against Clemson. He will bring his playing experience, working with all defensive coaches, to elevate defensive line play for the Bengals while honing in on local recruiting efforts and helping to identify Junior College defensive linemen.
