He then went on to play professionally for four seasons in the Canadian Football League most notably with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the British Columbia Lions before finishing his pro career in the Alliance of American Football with the Birmingham Iron.
Returning to his native California, KP began his coaching career in the high school ranks before beginning his college coaching career at LA Piece College. His next foray came in the recruiting ranks at Boise State where he identified and evaluated both high school and transfer portal students.
