Kenton Bartlett has taken an unconventional but valuable path onto the Idaho State coaching staff, moving from the strength and conditioning side of the program into a full coaching role as the Bengals' special teams analyst.

A native of Eagle, Idaho, and a graduate of Centennial High School, Bartlett played his college football at Portland State, where he was a three-year starter and earned All-Big Sky honors in 2018, finishing his career with over 110 tackles. He went on to a professional career in the Indoor Football League, playing for the Iowa Barnstormer and the Northern Arizona Wranglers, with whom he won an IFL championship in 2022.

That blend of playing experience, professional football background and hands-on strength and conditioning work now informs his role shaping the Bengals' special teams unit as he makes the transition into full-time coaching.
