Laureen Orozco started working at Idaho State University (ISU) in the fall of 2018. Most recently (2022) Orozco was named the Coordinator of Athletic Certification.
In 2019, Laureen was the Director of Student-Athlete Academic Services here at ISU. Orozco was originally hired as an Academic Advisor for the Athletic Department.
Before Idaho State, Laureen built up a resume at the University of Texas at El Paso. From 2016 to 2018 she was an Athletic Academic Coordinator. She was an Athletic Academic Advisor for their department from 2014 to 2016. Laureen also spent four years as a tutor from 2012 to 2014.
Laureen is from El Paso, Texas, and earned a MEd Curriculum & Instruction; a BA in Sociology.
