Coach Campbell has 26 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience.
Campbell joined Idaho State University in 2005 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2007 and has helped the Bengals win 6 conference championships in 4 different sports over the past 7 years.
He has 10 national certifications and has trained thousands of athletes of all ages and in all sports. Coach Campbell played line backer and was the defensive player of the year at Idaho State in 1990. He graduated with degrees in physical education and health education.
He started his work career teaching, coaching and training athletes in Hawaii at Punahou High School. He then started his first personal training company called one-on-u personal training. Coach Campbell’s clients have included several NBA, NFL, 2 Gold medal Olympic athletes, and many of his high school athletes have gone on to earn college scholarships.
Coach Campbell returned to Idaho in 1997 where he started Total Sports Conditioning Camps, in which he trained area athletes during the summer months. During the school year he worked as the Health Services Manager of the Pocatello Head Start Program.
Coach Campbell enjoys traveling around the country sharing his knowledge and experience with coaches and athletes of all levels.
His certifications are: CSCS,ACSM,ACE,AFAA,YMCA (5), and battling ropes certified.
