Idaho State: (2014-15) Placed second in the decathlon at the Northridge Invitational and earned a personal best score of 7,030 points, placed first in the javelin and earned a personal best throw of 57.00 meters, (03/20)....placed second in the heptathlon at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships and earned a personal best score of 5,196 points, placed sixth in the long jump and earned a personal best mark of 6.58 meters, placed ninth in the high jump and earned a personal best mark of 1.79 meters, placed sixth in the 60-meter hurdles and earned a personal best time of 8.72  (02/26)....placed fifth in the discus at the UVU Collegiate Invitational and earned a personal best mark of 48.18 meters (03/27)....placed second in the shot put at the Boise State Challenge and earned a personal best mark of 15.03 meters (02/14)....placed second in the pole vault at the Mountain States Games and earned a personal best mark of 4.50 meters (01/30)....placed eighth in the 110-meter hurdles and earned a personal best time of 15.60 (04/15)....placed 16th in the 400-meter dash at the Mt. SAC Relays and earned a personal best time of 52.61 (04/15).

Idaho State: (2013-14) Finished sixth with 6224 points in the decathlon at the BYU Robison Invitational (04/26)....finished eighth and had a career best in the heptathlon with 4735 points at the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships (03/01).

Idaho State (2011-12): Had a career best decathlon of 6408 points at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (05/14) ... competed in the pole vault and triple jump at the ISU Open (02/10) (2010-11): Competed in both the indoor and outdoor seasons for Idaho State ... finished 11th in the decathlon at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships with a career best 6025 points (05/14) ... his career best heptathlon was 4315 points at the Mountain States Games where he finished seventh (01/28) ... competed in both the indoor and outdoor Big Sky Championships

Logan High School: Participated in track and field for four years earning four varsity letters for LHS … played football for four years and earned two varsity letters … state champion in the discus his senior season … name all-state in the discus and shot put his junior and senior years … named team MVP in his junior and senior seasons … named all-region and all-valley receiver in football … named offensive MVP his senior year.

Personal: Parents are Cheryl and Will Phillips … born April 1, 1992 … has two sisters, Angie and Becky … has one brother, Raymond … sister Angie currently is track and field member at Idaho State competing in the throwing events … sister Becky participated in track and field for Utah Valley … major is currently undecided.
