Biography

Idaho State (2011-12): Competed in the decathlon at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships (05/14) ... had a career best heptathlon of 4,330 points at the Mountain States Games (02/04) ... competed in the heptathlon at the Big Sky Championships (02/24) (2010-2011) Was a mult-event athlete for Idaho State in both indoor and outdoor campaigns... scored a career-high 6,042 points in the decathlon at the Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championships finishing in 10th overall... Finished  2nd overall at the Idaho-Utah Borderclash in the decathlon with a total of 5,878 points. (2009-10) Was a multi-event athlete for Idaho State in both the indoor and outdoor campaigns … scored a career-high 2,877 points in the heptathlon at the Mountain States Games (2/5) finishing 12th overall … scored a career-best 5,390 points at the Cal Multis (3/24) to finish 10th overall.

High School: Earned six letters at Mountain Home High School … three in cross country and three in track and field … state champion in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 40.14 … took fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles and sixth place in the 4x100 relay … track team took fourth at state … has the third school record in the 300-meter hurdles.

Personal: Parents are Timothy and Jennifer Wood … sister Jessica … majoring in secondary health education with a minor in coaching.
