Idaho State Indoor (2026): Tom Stoelken delivered an outstanding sophomore indoor season, establishing himself as one of the top multi-event athletes in the conference. He placed second in the heptathlon at the Big Sky Conference Championships with a personal best 5132 points, a mark that ranks No. 10 all-time in Idaho State history, highlighted by event wins in the shot put and a runner-up finish in the 60m hurdles. Stoelken also recorded 4972 points to place third at the Mountain States Games and opened the season with a heptathlon victory at the Snake River Open. Across individual events, he consistently excelled in the 60m hurdles, posting a season best of 8.30—ranking No. 10 all-time at ISU—while also contributing strong marks in the pole vault, long jump, and shot put. His consistency and scoring ability across events solidified his role as a key multi-event competitor for the Bengals.

Idaho State Outdoor (2025): In a historic freshman campaign, Tom Stoelken emerged as a standout multi-event athlete for the Bengals. He captured the Big Sky Conference Decathlon Championship with a personal-best score of 6,770 points, becoming the first true freshman in Idaho State history to win the title. His performance was highlighted by event wins in the 110m hurdles (15.12s) and javelin throw (50.07m), along with a personal best in the pole vault (4.20m) Earlier in the season, Stoelken secured victory at the Buc Scoring meet with a then-personal best of 6,508 points in the decathlon. He also achieved personal bests in the javelin throw (55.82m) and discus throw (45.30m) during the Utah Valley Collegiate Invitational

Idaho State Indoor (2024–25): Stoelken's indoor season was equally impressive, culminating in a third-place finish in the heptathlon at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships with a personal-best score of 4,760 points. His performance included a first-place finish in the shot put (13.41m) and a strong showing in the pole vault (4.09m)

Personal: Tom, an International Student from Germany, is the son of Martina and Christian Stoelken. He has two siblings, Neo and Ani.
