Bianca Gutierrez enters her first season with Idaho State as the Director of Basketball Operations. She will oversee the programs video and statistical programs. She comes to Pocatello after an exceptional career at the University of Maine at Fort Kent. 

While at Fort Kent she was ranked third in the country for the highest three-point shooting percentage. Gutierrez played two seasons at the University of Maine at Fort Kent and prior to that she played two years at College of the Desert. 

Gutierrez had an exceptional high school career where she was a four-year varsity letter winner at Palm Desert High School. During her playing career she earned first-team all-league in the DVL conference. She also was named MVP of her team as a junior and senior. Her sophomore season at College of the Desert she was ranked third in the state of California for highest three-point shooting percentage earning herself Palm Desert High School's Underclassman of the Year. 

Gutierrez graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management.

Prior to her arrival in Pocatello, Gutierrez was an intern at the Indio Recreation Center located in Indio, California. She oversaw a youth summer league, was in charge of statistics and helped run youth basketball clinics.

She also worked as an intern at Palm Desert High School, overseeing the high school student athletic training aids. Gutierrez helped and taught student aids on how to treat athlete's injuries. She also helped organized and took inventory of the athletic training office, while updating student athlete injury portfolios throughout the year.
