Katelin King joins the 2019-20 Idaho State women’s basketball coaching staff after serving as a graduate assistant for the Concordia University Irvine women’s basketball program.

While at Concordia, King received her master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration.

King graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge where she competed on the women’s basketball program. While playing at Northridge, King was a part of two Big West conference tournament championships, one regular season championship, and two NCAA tournament appearances. She medically retired prior to her senior year but joined the staff as an undergraduate assistant and was the team's video coordinator. She was responsible for filming and editing practice and game film, as well as tracking individual statistics.

Head Coach Seton Sobolewski on King:
"Katelin comes highly recommended from some of our trusted friends," Sobolewski said. "She grew up in a basketball house hold and has always been around great coaches. Unfortunately her playing career at Northridge was cut short, but this allowed her to start transitioning into be a coach earlier than most. We are fortunate to have her in Pocatello."
