Idaho State (2020-21) Played and started in 25 games for the Bengals... Assisted the Bengals in winning the Regular Season and Tournament Big Sky Championships and played in the first round of the NCAA tournament against the University of Kentucky... In the NCAA tournament game against Kentucky, scored 16 points on 7-of-12 from the field and had three steals while guarding 1st team All-American Rhyne Howard... Against Northern Arizona and Montana State tied her career high in rebounds with 10, both of those games recorded double-doubles... Against Eastern Washington to clinch the regular season championship, had a career-high 11 assists... Made a career high 9 free throws against NNU on Feb. 5... Finished 14 games with at least four assists... Was the highest average minute playing Bengal at 30.8 minutes per game... Averaged .484 field goal percentage and 4.6 rebounds per game, finished the season averaging a career-high 11.9 rebounds per game... Was named to the Second-Team All-Big Sky team.
Idaho State: (2019-20) Played and started in all 31 games for Idaho State… averaged 9.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and steals 1.6 per game… scored a career-high 32 point game against Northern Arizona on Feb. 6 after going 11-18 from the field, 8-11 from the free-throw line, and 2-4 from three… recorded a season-high eight rebounds and seven steals against at Northern Colorado on Feb. 22… finished 15 games with at least four assists… finished No. 9 in the Big Sky Conference in assists and No. 7 in the Big Sky Conference in steals.
High School: Won a silver medal with the French National Team at the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3-on-3 2018 U18 Europe Cup in Debrecen, Hungary and was named to the all-tournament team...won another silver one month later at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina...was also a member of the 5-on-5 U16 French National Team...played club basketball for two organizations...joined Cavigal Nice Basket 06 in 2017 and led the team to a third-place finish in the league championship...also played for Toulouse Metropole Basket club at Bellevue High School for a year.
Personal: Born Diaba Konate on March 30, 2000 to Niagamo and Hatoun-Sire Konate...plans to earn a BBA in accounting...made the 2019 Fiba 3x3 U23 French National Team where she will compete at the 2019 Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) World Beach Games in Qatar beginning mid-October.
