Biography

Idaho State: (2018-19) Played and started all 31 games for Idaho State...averaged 8.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting 48.3 percent from the floor...helped ISU hand Cal Baptist a loss in its first DI game with a career-high four steals while adding six points and five rebounds...scored a career-high 25 points on 11-17 shooting to help ISU set a new program record with a 66.0 field-goal percentage against Utah Valley on Dec. 6...scored 18 points to help ISU top the league-leading Idaho Vandals in the final game of the regular season...netted 12 points and grabbed four rebounds in ISU's WNIT appearance against Arizona on March 21...closes her career with the ninth-best career field-goal percentage in ISU history at 46.1 percent.

Idaho State: (2017-18) Appeared and started in 30 games for the season… averaged 9.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game… recorded three double-doubles on the season: at Seattle on Nov. 10 (15 points, 12 rebounds); at Hawai’i on Dec. 8 (17 points, 13 rebounds); and vs. Weber State on Mar. 7 in the Big Sky Conference quarterfinals (14 points, 10 rebounds)… finished in double figures 14 times on the season… scored a career-high 19 points against Southern Utah on Feb. 3… grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds at Hawai’i on Dec. 8.

(2016-17) Saw action in all 33 games with one start in her redshirt freshman season…averaged 3.3 points and 2.8 rebounds on the season…reached double-figures on two occasions with a season-high 13 points coming against Montana Tech on Dec. 16…finished 6-of-12 from the floor with two rebounds and one assist in ISU’s win over the Orediggers…finished 5-of-6 from the floor shooting 83.3 percent for 11 points in ISU’s double-overtime win at Southern Utah on Feb. 4…grabbed a season-high seven boards at Montana on March 3...named Big Sky all-academic.

(2015-16) Redshirted.

High School: Graduated from Central High School in 2015...was a standout three-sport athlete in basketball, volleyball and track and field...a two-time honorable mention selection, second team all-league selection and an all-region forward selection in basketball...led Central to four-straight playoff appearances...was a two-time honorable mention selection in volleyball and helped her team to a state playoff appearance...ranks third all-time at Central High School in the shot put and placed in the top five at districts three times.

Personal: Born Talei Siapologa Tapasa on April 27 in Portland, Ore...daughter of Solomona and Joanna Tapasa...has four sisters, Fiateleimoana, Salamasina, Fetuao and Lagi...major is management and marketing.
