Michael Erickson enters his second season as the assistant coach for the women's golf team.

Erickson graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in 2003 and received an associate degree in business management. While in school Erickson volunteered at the Joy of Sports Foundation in Carlsbad, Calif., where he organized and initiated after-school activities for overweight and under-privileged children.

Currently Erickson is the Head Golf Professional at Oregon Trail Country Club where he has been the Pro for the past five years. There he has created junior programs also expanding and improving both the men's and women's leagues. Erickson also plays in the community pro am tournaments with his course yearly.

Erickson is originally from Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He is married to Brandi who is a weather and news anchor for NBC News Channel 6 in the mornings. The couple has two children, Berlin and Everett, and resides in Pocatello.
