Former professional soccer player and three-time California State University Northridge Offensive MVP Kristy Krohn has joined the Idaho State soccer team as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2013 season.

Krohn was a four-year starter at midfield for the CSUN Matadors and ended her career as the all-time leader in points. She was also named to the Big West All-League second team in 2007.

After her college career Krohn played professionally in Brazil for the Santos Futebol Clube. She helped guide the team to the Copa Paulista League Championship as well as the Jogos Abertos championship.

Additionally she has played for three semi-pro soccer teams over the past six seasons.

Along with her playing career Kohn has coached club soccer since her time with the Matadors and last season assisted at CSUN.
