Kuna High School: Earned one letter in track and field and three letters in volleyball at Kuna High School … holds all of the school’s girl weight lifting records … finished second at district in the shot put … named First Team All-Conference in volleyball … named club volleyball MVP … led her volleyball team to a district championship and a fourth-place finish at state in 2009 … received highest academic honors.

Personal: Parents are Brad and Lisa Thornton … has three brothers: Scott, Logan and Devin … major is undecided.
