Game Notes: Texas Tech, Texas State, Texas, UTEP, High Point and Arkansas
BENGALS IN ACTION THIS WEEK
Idaho State begins a five game road streak in Texas at Texas Tech on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the United Spirit Arena. The Bengals have a long week ahead of them when they play five games in eight days continuing the road trip at Texas State, Texas and a tournament hosted by UTEP. The UTEP tournament lasts two days where the Bengals play the tournament host and either High Point or Arkansas. The Bengal Radio Network will broadcast all of the games through KISU 91.1 FM with play-by-play announcer

LAST WEEK'S RESULTS
Idaho State made defensive adjustments in the second half to turn a four point deficit at the break to a 10 point lead when the Bengals defeated Air Force 68-58 at Reed Gym. The Bengals continue to dominate at home improving to a six-game home win streak dating back to February of last season. The Bengals improved to 2-1 while Air Force fell to 1-2 for the season.
ABOUT THE BENGALS
Idaho State has two players in double-figure scoring led by freshman guard
Lindsey Reed with 14.3 points per game followed by senior guard
Chelsea Pickering who averages 13.3 ppg. Freshman forward
Cydney Horton leads the Big Sky in blocks per game. She has posted seven blocked shots in her first three games, three against Boise State alone. Sophomore
Ashleigh Vella led the Bengals on the boards averaging 6.7 rebounds per game.
BENGALS OPEN THE SEASON WITH SPARK
Idaho State opened the season with a 63-55 victory over Loyola Marymount at Reed Gym.
Lindsey Reed posted a game-high 21 points, eight rebounds and three steals in 35 minutes of play. She was seven-of-15 from the field, including three-of-five from the three-point line. It was the first time since the 2003-04 season that Idaho State had won a season-opener when they defeated Lewis & Clark 104-51.
IDAHO STATE HITS TEXAS HARD
The Bengals will play five games over eight days in Texas Travel begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20 from Reed Gym. A small time later, 31 hours to be precise, the Bengals open their first game of the road trip at Texas Tech on Nov. 21 at 3:05 p.m. The Bengals pack up for the airport the next morning to fly to Austin. The trip continues on the other side of the state when ISU plays at Texas State on Nov. 23 at 6:05 p.m. followed by the University of Texas on Nov. 24 at 3:05 p.m. The road trip will wrap up at the UTEP Tournament when ISU plays at UTEP on Nov. 26 at 4:30 p.m. followed by either High Point or Arkansas on Nov. 27 at 7:05 p.m.
