BENGALS IN ACTION THIS WEEK
Idaho State (11-5, 2-1 BSC) ended its eight-game win streak at Portland State on Monday and look for redemption when they play at Montana (6-10, 1-2 BSC) on Thursday, Jan. 20 at 7:05 p.m. in the Dahlberg Arena. Idaho State has only won one game on the road against Montana at Dahlberg Arena defeating the Lady Griz 67-62 on Jan. 18, 2001. ISU's game at Montana is the Bengals third straight road contest.

ABOUT THE BENGALS
Idaho State continues to lead the Big Sky Conference for all games hitting 42.3 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from the arc and 78.9 percent from the line. The Bengals also lead the conference by holding opponents to 36.5 percent from the field. ISU is averaging 68.8 points per game. In league contests, ISU posts the second best field goal percentage at 46.5 percent and the second best defensive rebound averaged with 26.7 per game.
BENGAL STANDOUTS
Idaho State is led in scoring by senior guard
Chelsea Pickering averaging 18.1 points per game while hitting 44.4 percent from the floor. She also leads ISU with 41 steals this season, reaching her career 100th against Northern Arizona at Reed Gym. Sophomore forward
Ashleigh Vella leads the Bengals from the field at 51.5 percent and is tied with freshman guard
Lindsey Reed both averaging 5.9 per game.
Kaela Oakes leads ISU from the arc at 48.1 percent.
FOUR BENGALS IN DOUBLE FIGURE SCORING
Idaho State has four players in double-figure scoring for the sixth straight week. Pickering not only leads the Bengals but the Big Sky Conference in all games with 18.1 points per game. ISU's other three players to average double-figures in scoring include Oakes with 12.2, followed by Vella with 11.9 and Reed with 10.8.
CONFERENCE ROAD STRETCH
The last time Idaho State went on a four-game conference road stretch was during the 2009-10 season when ISU played at Weber State, Eastern Washington, Portland State and Sacramento State over 15 days from Jan. 15-30. Idaho State opened with a 57-49 win over the Wildcats before dropping the next three contests to begin a five-game losing streak.
IDAHO STATE LEADERS
Pickering leads the Big Sky in consecutive double-digit scoring games with 14 straight. Pickering's 18.1 ppg is the 31st best average in the nation. Pickering is also in the top 200 in the nation for steals per game, free throw percentage, and three point field goals per game. She has led Idaho State in scoring nine times, most recently with 22 points in ISU's victory at Sacramento State. Reed has led the Bengals in rebounding six times and is on a two game rebound high streak.
ABOUT MONTANA
Montana is 7-10 on the season having won four of its last six contests. The Lady Griz are 2-2 in the conference. Montana leads the league in field goal percentage defense (34.8), three-point field goal percentage defense (25.3) and free throw percentage (80.6 percent) in Big Sky games. Montana also leads the Big Sky in offensive rebounds with 15 per game.
GRIZ STANDOUTS
Montana is led by Katie Baker in scoring averaging 11.6 points per game for the season and 13 ppg in the league. She also leads the team in rebounds averaging 8.2 for the season and nine in league play. Sarah Ena follows Baker averaging 9.5 ppg in league contests and 5.5 rebounds per game.
SERIES INFO AGAINST MONTANA
Montana leads the series 59-6. Idaho State has only won one game on the road against Montana at Dahlberg Arena defeating the Lady Griz 67-62 on Jan. 18, 2001. Montana has won the last six meetings including a 67-53 win over the Bengals at Reed Gym. The last time Idaho State defeated Montana was at Reed Gym 90-77 on Jan. 17, 2008.
