Mike Kramer Quotes
“We did a nice job throughout the game. We gave up that long drive to begin the game. We put ourselves in bad field position. The field position led to catastrophic lack of communication between myself and
David Harrington. We had a fake punt called but not if we were inside the 20 going out. I neglected getting a hold of David and all of a sudden they had six points.”
“For the rest of the game we could not generate touchdowns. One major error caused by me led to a touchdown. We overcame it and we had a 9-8 lead.”
“We got a punt block and that led to a go-ahead touchdown and we dropped a punt after we got a three and out. The kicking game has been dragons' breath the whole season.”
“I thought our seniors played outstanding defensively.”
“This was probably our best game against a running team. We did enough things defensively to win the game. We did enough things in the kicking game to lose five games. Offensively we have to score touchdowns. There is not much more you can say.”
“I think that is really cool. Michael is one of the classiest guys who have ever played football for ISU. It is a long standing record that a lot of football players have wanted to break. It is cool that AJ broke that record but hopefully that record will not be broken again because we will be good on defense and never have to a person like Michael Calley or AJ Storms carry the fort again.
"We saw some nice catches by
Luke Austin a walkin who is now a scholarship player. He did a really nice job. The cool thing for Luke is that he is patient. When we come back to Sacramento State in a couple of years we will be a much better football team."
