POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State returns to Holt Arena for the first of only two home games in the month of December. The Bengals host future Big Sky Conference member North Dakota on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. The game will broadcast live on 930 AM with
Jerry Miller and
Brad Bugger calling the action. Tickets behind the West basket are $8 and if fans print a coupon off the Idaho State Athletics facebook page they can redeem that at the ticket office for a $6 ticket.
North Dakota leads the series 1-0 with the first-ever meeting between being this year on Nov. 14 in Grand Forks, where the Bengals dropped a 63-47 decision.
SCOUTING NORTH DAKOTA
North Dakota, a future member of the Big Sky Conference, is 4-2 with two of the wins coming against Big Sky schools. Along with its win over ISU on Nov. 14, North Dakota also defeated Montana 88-81 in overtime. Troy Huff leads ND in scoring at 14.8 points and 7.5 rebounds a contest. North Dakota is averaging 74.8 points a game and shooting 44 percent from the field.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Idaho State is coming off a 65-41 loss at New Mexico on Wednesday, Nov. 30. New Mexico is the preseason favorite to win the Mountain West Conference.
Melvin Morgan led the Bengals with 23 points and hit seven 3-pointers.

The ISU guard is 15-for-28 from the 3-point line and shooting 45 percent overall from the field (24-for-53). During this four-game stretch he also has eight steals and is 12-for-15 from the free throw line.

Chase Grabau is a player that has shown to make all the hustle plays for the Bengals. Grabau is second on the team in scoring at 11.2 points a game and second in rebounding at 6.2 rebounds a contest. He is playing a team-high 34.2 minutes a game and shooting 46 percent from the field. He has 10 steals on the year and has recorded 23 assists to only seven turnovers.
REBOUNDING MACHINE
Abner Moreira has made his presence felt on the glass as he has 19 games with seven rebounds or more in his one-year plus with the Bengals. He had a career-high 14 rebounds at Weber State. He has had one of game 13 rebounds, two games with 11 rebounds, one game with 10 rebounds, six games with nine rebounds, two games with eight rebounds and seven games with seven rebounds.
