POCATELLO, Idaho- Idaho State hosts Weber State on Saturday, January 28, at 7 p.m. at ICCU Court in Holt Arena. The game can be heard live on 930 AM with Jerry Miller and Brad Bugger calling the action. Live stats, video and audio can be found on isubengals.com.  Idaho State is currently in a tie for fourth place with Portland State in the conference with a 4-4 record.

Weber State leads the overall series 72-46. Weber State has won the last seven meetings, with ISU's last win being a 63-59 victory in Pocatello on Feb. 2, 2008. The last win in Ogden was a 58-55 victory on Jan. 4, 2007.

Weber State comes into Pocatello with a 16-3 record and an 8-0 mark in Big Sky play. The Wildcats are led by the play of Damian Lillard who is averaging 24.8 points and 5.8 rebounds a game. Weber State has won 10 straight games with its last loss being a 77-57 defeat at Cal on Dec. 16. Scott Bamforth is also averaging 15.5 points and Kyle Tresnak is netting 10.7 points. The Wildcats are scoring 78.9 points a game and shooting .461 percent from the field.

Recapping the 2 OT Win Over Northern Colorado
Idaho State won back-to-back games for the first time this season when it beat last year's Big Sky Champion's Northern Colorado 99-94 in double overtime on Thursday night. Chase Grabau had 30 points and Melvin Morgan had 22 while Kenny McGowen scored 18. The Bengals shot .567 percent from the field and made 14 3-pointers, the most since hitting 15 against Montana Tech on Dec. 1, 2004. The 99 points was the most points scored in a game since a 107-106 loss to Sacramento State on Jan. 12, 2006.  The win gave the Bengals the season sweep over Northern Colorado as it beat the Bears 57-55 in Greeley. It is the first time the Bengals have swept a conference opponent since sweeping Northern Arizona and Montana State in the 2008-09 season.

The Do It All Player
Chase Grabau has been a leader for the Bengals on and off the court this year and since the start of conference play he has risen his play to another level. Grabau leads ISU in scoring at 13.6 points a game but that average jumps to 19.8 in league play. He is shooting .553 percent from the field overall but that number also rises to .621 percent in conference. Grabau is averaging five rebounds and has a team-best 36 steals. He also has a team-high 76 assists to only 39 turnovers.

Conference Play Means Improved Play
The numbers for Chase Grabau, Kenny McGowen and Melvin continue to improve. In the eight league games, Grabau has upped his average to 19.8, Morgan 12.6 and McGowen 13.9. Morgan has improved his shooting percentage to .468 from the field in league while Grabau has improved his conference numbers to .833 percent from the free throw line, .484 percent from the 3-point line, .621 percent from the field and he is play 37.9 minutes a game.

Scoring Punch
Kenny McGowen, Chase Grabau and Melvin Morgan are averaging 37.4 points a game of the teams 65.3 points a game average. In the 99-94 double overtime win over Northern Colorado the three combined for 70 of the Bengals 99 points.
