POCATELLO, Idaho- Three of Idaho State's football players have been named to the College Football Performance Awards Watch List.
Josh Hill has been named to the CFPA Tight Ends Watch List,
Rodrick Rumble to the Wide Receivers Watch List and
Kevin Yost to the Quarterbacks Watch List.
Hill played in all 11 games for the Bengals in his junior season, starting 10. He was second on the team in receptions with 48 and he caught for 407 yards on the season. Hill was an all-conference honorable mention and was named to the Big Sky All-Academic team.
Rumble was named to All-American teams by College Sports Madness, Phil Steele, The Sports Network and the Associated Press. He started all 11 games and earned first-team all-conference accolades in 2011. Rumble led the team in receiving, setting the ISU record with 112 receptions for the season. He also finished the season with the second most receiving yards in Idaho State history with 1,348 and tied for sixth all-time in receiving touchdowns in a season with nine. Rumble tied for third all-time in single game receptions with 14 against both Northern Colorado and Weber State and he had the third most receiving yards in a single game with 218 against Northern Colorado.
Yost played and started in all 11 games for the Bengals in the 2011 season. He set the record for completions in a single season with 300 and was second all-time in single season pass attempts with 493. Yost also set the record for completions in a single game with 47 and tied for second all-time in single game pass attempts with 68 against Northern Colorado. Yost was named the Big Sky Player of the Week for his performance against Northern Colorado.
Season tickets for the 2012 football season are currently on sale at the Idaho State Athletics Ticket Office in Holt Arena. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or by calling 208-282-FANS. Season tickets are $70, $40 for ISU faculty and staff and $37.50 for the Fun Zone. Single game tickets and select road game tickets will go on sale on July 2.
