CBS Sports Radio Lineup
POCATELLO, Idaho- Sports Radio has returned to Southeastern Idaho and it will be on the Home of the Bengals, 930 KSEI (Bengal fans can also catch football, men's basketball games and the weekly coaches show on 102.5 KMGI).
Pacific Empire Radio announced today that KSEI AM 930 will be joining the highly popular and increasing list of stations with CBS Sports Talk Radio Network and begin broadcasting the nationally syndicated format on Monday, February 25.
KSEI AM 930 has been a mainstay of East Idaho broadcasting since 1926 and is the second longest continuous broadcasting radio station in Idaho.
KSEI AM 930 has also had a long standing Sports and Sports Talk history to which now it returns.
“We get calls for Sports Radio all the time. There has been a tremendous outcry for sports radio to return to East Idaho ever since KSEI encountered issues with our prior network affiliation. We are thrilled to be once again returning to sports talk and especially with the new CBS Sports Radio Network” said Operations Manager Sean Green.
KSEI will carry CBS Sports Talk 24/7 with continuous live broadcasts in real time which will give local sports enthusiasts opportunity to call in and voice their opinions about the topics of the day. The only anticipated interruptions will be for local sports coverage such as ISU men's Football and Basketball during the season.
KSEI is owned and operated by Pacific Empire Radio who also owns and operates KMGI Rock 102 in Eastern Idaho.
Program Director Don Craig added: “CBS has put together a powerful line up of hosts for its Sports Talk Network including former athletes like Tiki Barber, sports
journalists like John Feinstein and long time talk show hosts like Jim Rome,” program director Don Craig said.” We believe this is the best line up available from any sports network today.”
General Manager Kosta Panidis added, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to reestablish sports talk radio in East Idaho especially given our long standing history as home of Idaho State University Athletics!!”
