POCATELLO, Idaho — Idaho State University Athletics has announced the addition of Sara Morris as Assistant Athletic Compliance Officer and Michael Pierce as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance to its athletics staff, reinforcing the department's commitment to excellence, student-athlete development, and competitive success.
Morris joins the Bengals with a background in athletics, bringing experience in leadership, program development, and student-athlete support. Prior to Idaho State, she held roles that emphasized both competitive achievement and holistic athlete growth. At ISU, Morris will play a key role in continuing to elevate the department's performance and culture.
"I'm pleased to join the Idaho State University Athletics Department and work in compliance," shared Morris. "The staff are great to work with and I look forward to contributing to an excellent compliance program that enriches the success of athletics at ISU."
Pierce comes to Idaho State with a strong resume in collegiate athletics, with his most recent stop at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference serving as the Associate Commissioner for Champions and Internal Operations. In addition, Pierce contributed to successful programs through his expertise in coaching, operations, and athlete development. His track record reflects a commitment to building competitive teams while fostering academic and personal success among student-athletes.
"As soon as I visited campus here in Pocatello, I knew I wanted to be a part of Bengal Athletics," stated Pierce. "The coaches and staff are working to provide the highest standard of excellence for our student-athletes' collegiate experience, and I am excited to contribute in that endeavor."
