Wiebke Boeckmann recorded wins Thursday in Idaho State's 5-2 loss to Southern Utah.
Tangarife won the No. 1 singles in three sets (6-1, 2-6, 6-2) over Southern Utah's Olya Kunz. The win improves Tangarife to 5-8 overall in singles action and 3-4 at the No. 1 spot.
Boeckmann won her third straight singles competition with a 6-3, 7-5 win over SUU's Afton Staheli at the No. 6 singles. With the victory, Boeckmann improves to 4-5 overall in singles play and is 4-4 at the No. 6 spot.
The Bengals fall to 4-9 overall on the season and 1-4 in Big Sky play while the Thunderbirds improve to 8-5 overall and 3-2 in Big Sky action.
The ISU women continue play this week with a match-up against Texas Pan American Friday, March 29 followed by another conference dual against Northern Arizona Saturday, March 30.
